Helmimeri was established in 1998 by Riikka Santonen.
Helmimeri imports and sells different kind of beads, beadwork materials and tools and materials for metal thread embroidery.

From the beginning of summer 2006 Helmimeri have also had a beadshop at Tampere. The address is Aleksanterinkatu 35 (but the door opens to Otavalankatu).
